Options and prices
- Standard delivery — £3.95, free on orders over £40. Tracked, 2–4 working days to mainland UK addresses.
- Next working day — £6.95. Order before 2pm on a working day. Mainland UK only, and not available on hazardous or oversized lines.
- Collection — free. Usually ready within four hours. Wait for the ready-to-collect email before you set off.
Prices are per order, not per item, and the threshold is measured on the basket total after any discount and including VAT.
When your order leaves us
We pick and pack in-house. Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are picked the same day; anything after that goes out the next morning. You get a dispatch email with a tracking link the moment the courier scans it, and the courier will text or email you a delivery window on the day.
Working days are Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays. We do not dispatch at weekends, so a Friday afternoon order on the standard service typically arrives Tuesday or Wednesday.
Where we deliver
Everywhere in the UK on the standard service, with two qualifications worth knowing before you order:
- Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and the offshore islands — add one to two working days. Next working day is not available.
- Restricted chemicals — shipped on a standard tracked service only, and not to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands or the Islands at all. Affected lines say so on the product page.
We do not currently ship outside the United Kingdom.
Heavy and oversized items
Pallet-weight sacks, multi-drum cases and mobility equipment go out on a two-person courier service. Allow an extra working day outside mainland England and Wales. Two-person deliveries are booked to a half-day window and someone needs to be in to receive them.
Age-restricted and hazardous lines
Some solvents, drain unblockers and specialist chemicals are sold to over-18s only. The courier may ask for photographic ID at the door, and cannot leave the parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place. Nothing hazardous travels on a next-day service.
If something goes wrong
Missing, late or damaged in transit: tell us and we will chase the courier, and replace or refund rather than leave you waiting on an investigation. Damage in transit is covered by the returns policy for 14 days from delivery and we pay the return postage.
Delivery partners and windows are reviewed periodically. The prices and timings on this page are the ones your order is quoted at checkout — if the two ever disagree, the checkout figure is the one that applies.
